About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Participant Referral Partner/Field Recruiter to help us identify and refer individuals who may qualify for an onsite health sensing study in Cupertino.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is well-connected within local communities, healthcare networks, patient groups, support organizations, or online communities and can help us reach individuals with specific health conditions.
Our current priority recruitment needs include people with:
Permanent Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) – medical documentation is required for confirmation.
Premature Atrial Contractions (PACs) – recent Holter test within the past month showing more than 1% PAC burden.
Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) – recent Holter test within the past month showing more than 1% PVC burden.
We are particularly interested in individuals who already have connections to cardiology, patient advocacy, support, or condition-specific communities and can help spread the opportunity to potentially eligible participants.
Role Responsibilities
Identify and refer potential participants who may meet the study's priority health-condition criteria.
Share approved study information and referral links through personal networks, community groups, social media, patient communities, support groups, and other appropriate channels.
Connect with local healthcare-related organizations, patient advocacy groups, support organizations, community groups, and other networks that may have access to relevant populations.
Build relationships with community contacts who can help distribute the study opportunity to potentially eligible individuals.
Conduct online and/or local outreach to identify potential participants in the SF Bay Area.
Clearly communicate basic study information, including the study purpose, location, time commitment, and compensation.
Direct interested individuals to the official registration link so the DataForce project team can conduct the eligibility screening.
Track referrals and provide regular updates on outreach activities and referral activity.
Adapt outreach strategies based on project recruitment needs and priority conditions.
Role Requirements
Previous experience in community outreach, participant recruitment, referral sourcing, healthcare outreach, patient engagement, or a related field is preferred.
Existing connections to individuals, organizations, groups, or communities related to the priority health conditions are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of the SF Bay Area community and local networks is preferred.
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor/freelancer.
Ability to use online communication and social media platforms for outreach.
Occasional local travel may be required for community outreach activities.
