We are currently looking for candidates who are Cantonese linguists (native speakers from Hong Kong)

Job Description:

Our team is looking for experienced Linguists to support a summarization review of Cantonese data. The role may include reviewing, validating, and analyzing language data, assessing linguistic accuracy and consistency, and performing other language-related tasks according to detailed project guidelines.

Candidates will apply their linguistic knowledge to ensure high-quality deliverables while working independently and maintaining excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate has strong listening and writing skills, is comfortable working with language data, and can consistently follow project-specific instructions.

This is a short-term freelance opportunity for linguists who enjoy detail-oriented work and contributing to the development of language technologies.

Job requirements:

• Native speaker proficiency of Cantonese

• Postgraduate degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Phonetics, Language Studies, or a related field

• Excellent listening, reading, and writing skills in Cantonese

• Experience working with linguistic data, transcription, annotation, language quality evaluation, or similar language-focused tasks

• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail

• Ability to follow detailed linguistic guidelines and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

• Previous experience supporting AI, speech, or language technology projects is a plus
