Role Summary 

We are looking for passionate, highly analytical Sports experts to help train and evaluate the next generation of Artificial Intelligence. As a Subject Matter Experts in Sports, you will review, rate, and correct AI-generated responses related to sports. Your expertise will ensure AI models understand sports rules, statistics, athlete performance, competitions, equipment, and sports culture accurately, safely, and helpfully. If you love analyzing games, breaking down strategies, and discussing player performance, this role is for you.

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI Output: Read prompts and multiple AI-generated responses related to sports, ranking them based on accuracy, helpfulness, tone, and formatting.

• Fact-Checking: Verify sports statistics, athlete records, competition results, historical moments, rules, and equipment details to identify AI “hallucinations” (incorrect or fabricated facts).

• Write Justifications: Provide clear, concise, and well-structured written explanations for why one AI response is better than another.

• Red Teaming: Test the limits of the AI by prompting it with complex or edge-case sports scenarios (e.g., rule interpretations, historical comparisons, advanced analytics questions).

Role Requirements 

• Deep Sports Expertise: Strong knowledge in one or more sports such as football/soccer, cricket, golf, Formula 1, or other competitive sports. This may come from experience as a sports blogger, podcaster, sports journalist or writer, coach, sports statistician, professional athlete, or equipment reviewer.

• Exceptional Written Communication: Native-level fluency in English with the ability to explain sports concepts, strategies, and statistics clearly to a broad audience.

• Analytical Mindset: You don’t just watch sports; you analyze performance, tactics, statistics, and trends.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify subtle factual errors, misleading statistics, or incorrect interpretations in written responses.

Preferred Role Requirements 

• Familiarity with advanced sports statistics, analytics tools, or performance metrics.

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
